2021: Ryan Wood begins a second season with the CSC coaching staff this fall, following his success in the International Arena Football League at Mexico City.
In 2020 the Eagles' defensive backs led the CSC defense, giving up the fewest passing yards per game of the 10 Division II programs who played football in the fall.
One of the finest defensive players ever to play for the Eagles, Ryan leapt onto the CSC record books as the No. 6 tackler of all time, with 329 tackles to conclude his career. He had seven career interceptions and 18 pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and five fumble recoveries.
Wood was the 2013 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Defensive Freshman of the Year, before earning All-RMAC First Team honors in 2014 and honorable mention in 2015.
