2019 - New to the staff this season, Steven Koch joins the Eagles this fall to coach outside linebackers as a coaching assistant. He comes to CSC from Dickinson State in North Dakota, where he was a student assistant in 2018.
As a linebacker at Dickinson from 2014 to 2017, Koch accounted for 39 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, one fumble recovery, and a 23-yard pick-six to help the Blue Hawks to conference titles in his last three seasons and a four-year overall record of 33-12.
Koch attended Harding County High School, in Buffalo, South Dakota, where he led his team in tackles as a senior and scored two touchdowns in the 9B state title matchup to lead the Ranchers to a championship. Two of his brothers, Clayton Koch and Forest Sainsbury, played football at Black Hills State. A sister, Devan Koch, preceded him at Dickinson where she was a basketball student-athlete.
