2016- Trelan Taylor serves his second year as a coaching assistant for the defensive backs, hoping to imbue his own RMAC success into the players he now helps mentor.
Taylor, a former safety, was named a preseason All-American by three publications (USA College Football, College Football America and Beyond Sports Network) before the 2013 season. He was also placed on the RMAC Preseason All-Conference Team.
In 2012, also as a team captain, Taylor put up an impressive season, finishing with third-most tackles on the team (74), eight interceptions, nine passes defended, and two forced fumbles.
Taylor hails from Spring Valley, Calif., and graduated from CSC in 2014 with a degree in communication arts.
