2014: Started every game for the Eagles at safety … Led the team with four interceptions for 43 yards … Had 61 tackles with half of them being unassisted … Also broke up seven passes and had 11 deflections … Forced two fumbles … Was named to the RMAC All-Conference Third Team.
2013: He started one game at the whip safety position but entered the 2014 fall camp as the starter … He continued to improve in his sophomore campaign, particularly with his coverage abilities … He had 28 tackles and there passes defended … He also intercepted a pass and returned it 43 yards … Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2012: He moved to safety during fall camp and seemed like a natural midway through the season … He played in all 12 games, starting four of them … He finished the season with 42 tackles, two broken-up passes and one fumble recovery … He also had an interception that sealed the Eagles’ come-from-behind victory over New Mexico Highlands … He recorded a career-high eight tackles against Western New Mexico … Named to the RMAC All-Academic honor roll.
2011: Redshirted during his first season at Chadron State.
High School: One of three recruits from Natrona, the 4A champs in Wyoming, to sign with the Eagles in 2011 … He carried the ball 171 times for 1,458 yards and 18 touchdowns ... He also caught 18 passes for 264 yards and two more TDs ... Returned nine punts for 120 yards and had three unassisted tackles, 10 assisted tackles, one fumble recovery, one interception and three pass breakups ... He was named to the Casper Star Tribune’s Super 25 and was the Old Spice Player of the Year.
Personal: Son of Lisa and Wendel … Has a 3.10 GPA in math and is a member of Blue Key … Born March 6.
