Biography

2022:  Appeared in 11 games, recording 27 total tackles. Had career highs in sacks and tackles for loss. Recorded 4.5 sacks for 28 yards and eight tackles for loss for 33 yards. Finished the year with one pass deflection and one forced fumble.
2021: Added size and speed over the summer to become a formidable edge rusher...played in 9 games...recored 30 total tackles, with 4.5 were TFL. Added two sacks
2020: Recorded nine tackles ... 2.5 tackles for a loss of seven yards .. one sack for a loss of five yards. 
2019: Made the travel squad as a true freshman and appeared in three games ... recorded one tackle versus CSU-Pueblo and had two half-sacks for six yards at Fort Lewis on Sept. 2.
High School: Cherokee Trail O-lineman follows former Eagles starter Matt Barden, who was also a Cougar alum, to Chadron State, where he projects as a defensive end ... beat Barden's high school personal best discus throw in track and field to rank fourth all-time at CTHS.
Personal: Son of Charmerra Thompson ... siblings are Yarah and Evan Thompson.
