2013: He impressed the coaches during fall camp and played in all 11 games, including starting four of the final five games as a true freshman … He was one of only two true freshman to not redshirt in 2013 … He finished the season with 17 tackles and had one interception, a forced fumble and four passes defended.
High School: Had 97 total tackles, five interceptions and two forced fumbles his senior season at Colleyville ... He returned two of those interceptions for TDs ... He also played basketball and ran track and field.
Personal: An education major ... He's the son of Dan Jones and Sharon Davidson ... Has a sister, Madeline.
