2021: Began fall camp as one of the veteran defensive backs expected to lead his unit
2020: Murphy played in all four games ... recorded 11 tackles, one broken up pass ... one fumble recovery against South Dakota Mines (10/31) ... returned a kickoff for 18 yards. 
2019: Made five tackles in opener and returned one kickoff ... unable to continue season after one game due to injury ... medical redshirt. 
Before CSC: Redshirt season and played three seasons at Humboldt State University before the HSU football program was discontinued ... one year of eligibility remaining ... played in all 10 games in 2018, starting seven at cornerback ... accounted for 36 total tackles ... 27 solo tackles were most of any HSU defensive back ... at Azusa Pacific Sept. 29, had five solo tackles, two interceptions, and returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown ... conference champions in 2015.
High School: Played defensive back and wide receiver at Edison High in Fresno, California ... Division 1 section champions in 2014 ... also won sectional title on basketball team.
Personal: Parents are Wanda Murphy and Kejon Murphy ... brother is Kejon, Jr., who played in all 45 games and started 28 for Utah State from 2006-2009.
