Biography

2012: Placed on the Beyond Sports Network and the USA Football News Preseason All-American Teams … He was also an RMAC All-Conference Preseason selection and represented Chadron State at the RMAC Football Media Day in Colorado Springs in early August … He has started 22 straight games at linebacker and played in 33 consecutive contests … Named a team captain.
2011: A team captain who backed it up with his play on the field ... Finished with the most tackles on the team (89) and added five tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks while starting in all 11 games ... He recorded a career-high 12 tackles in the Eagles’ thrilling season finale victory against Colorado Mesa ... He was placed on the RMAC and Nebraska Division II First Teams following the season ... He was also the Nebraska Division II Player of the Week following the Eagles’ win over Colorado Mesa ... Had at least eight tackles in eight different games and was named the ‘Hammer,’ or Chadron State’s top special teams player.
2010: Finished the season with the fourth-most tackles on the team (57) and added 7.5 tackles for loss, four sacks and broke up four passes … Is one of the most athletic players on the team … Notched double-digit tackles in two games and had or assisted on a negative play in eight of 11 games started … Was named to both the RMAC All-Conference and Nebraska Division II First Teams … He was also the Nebraska Player of the Week once and an RMAC First Team all-academic choice.
2009: He played in all 11 games and started against CSU-Pueblo … He had 31 tackles, four tackles for loss, a sack and one fumble recovery … Coaches have said that Lindholm is a similar player to former CSC great and RMAC Hall of Famer, Kevin Homer … Also a valuable member of the special team coverage units … Earned RMAC All-Academic Second Team honors in 2009.
2008: Redshirted during his first season at CSC.
High School: A two-time all-state performer and Colorado’s 6-man player of the year while starring for the Eads Eagles … Played several positions in high school … Scored a touchdown three different ways in one quarter as a senior … He scored on defense, caught a TD pass and ran for another one … The Denver Post named him MVP after he led Eads to its state title … Also wrestled and played basketball during the winter … Qualified for the Colorado state wrestling tournament and finished fourth as a junior at 171 pounds … He also posted an 18-rebound game … Played baseball for Eads in the spring of his senior year and helped lead the Eagles to their first baseball championship in May of 2008.
Personal: A physical education major with a 3.65 GPA … Son of Kenneth and Elaine Lindholm ... Has five siblings: Chris, Hollie, Sandy, Laura and Kelly ... Born March 5.
