Biography

2014: Had a breakout season in which he appeared in every game and made nine starts … Became the Eagles’ best offensive threat … Led the team with 63 receptions for 899 yards, averaging over 80 yards a game … Had a team-high nine receiving touchdowns … Eclipsed 100 yards in three games with a career-high 11 catches for 166 yards against Western New Mexico … Was named to the All-Conference Third Team as well as the Omaha World Herald All-Star Team … Is close to cracking the top-10 in all of the all-time receiving catergories.
2013: One of the Eagles’ largest offensive threats … At 6-6, he’s a tough cover … He finished with 13 receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns … Following the football season, Kyle played in 18 games for the men’s basketball team … He started 14 of them and averaged just under five points and three rebounds a game.
2012: He was the primary backup to Nathan Ross and had seven receptions for 65 yards in 11 games played … He also scored two TDs … Following the football season, he started 20 of 22 games for the men’s basketball team … He was the Eagles’ fourth-leading scorer at 7.3 points per game … He also averaged 5.3 rebounds … Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2011: Redshirted during his first season at Chadron State … He started 20 of 24 games for the men’s basketball team that qualified for the RMAC playoffs … He averaged 2.6 points and 2.3 rebounds.
High School: He and high school teammate Cole Montgomery came to CSC after they helped Natrona win the 4A state title … He had 45 receptions for 709 yards and 11 TDs … Also had 13 solo tackles, 15 assisted tackles, three interceptions and seven pass breakups … He was placed on the Casper Star-Tribune’s Super 25 Team … Also a talented jumper for the Natrona track and field team, finishing sixth at the state meet in the long jump (20-10 ¾) and the triple jump (42-8 ¾) as a junior.
Personal: Son of Chris and Dayna … Has two sisters, Madison and Courtney … Has a 3.00 GPA in business administration … Born Jan. 28.
