2013: Combined with Glen Clinton to form a talented one-two punch out of the backfield … Michael rushed for 508 yards on just 80 carries and scored a career-high six TDs … He averaged 6.3 yards a carry and had a long run of 52 yards for a score in the Eagles’ nationally-televised game against West Texas A&M … He also had four receptions for 32 yards and returned 13 punts for 182 yards (14.0 average) … He was named to the All-Nebraska Division II team following the season … For his career, he’s rushed for 1,489 yards and scored 14 TDs.
2012: A tremendous change-of-pace tailback who combined with Glen Clinton to form one of the better offensive backfield combinations in Division II … Michael rushed for 487 yards on just 89 carries and scored five TDs … He also added 12 receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown … He’s also a skilled punt returner, averaging 34 yards a return on both of his attempts … Named the strongest CSC player pound-for-pound in the spring.
2011: He was an excellent tailback and in his only start of the season he rushed for 235 yards and a TD on 36 carries against Western State … He followed that with an 84-yard rushing performance against Adams State the next week and proceeded to finish second on the team with 487 rushing yards … He moves exceptionally well and is a shifty runner … He also had nine receptions for 33 yards and returned seven kickoffs for an average return of 29.3 yards.
2010: Sat out the season.
2009: Redshirted during his first season at CSC.
High School: Had a stellar senior season at Pleasant Grove … Rushed for 1,948 yards on 324 carries and scored 19 TDs … On defense he finished with 48 tackles, three interceptions and blocked a field goal … Named All-Delta Valley League and was on the first team for both offense and defense … He was also all-city, all-metro second team, and the Sacramento Bee Player of the Week.
