Biography

2013: Named a preseason All-American by three publications (USA College Football, College Football America and Beyond Sports Network) … He was also placed on the RMAC Preseason All-Conference Team.
2012: No doubt about it, Trelan had one of the most productive seasons in recent memory at CSC … He was named the Nebraska Division II Player of the Week four times … He finished with the third-most tackles on the team (74) and he added eight interceptions, nine passes defended and two forced fumbles … He had two interceptions in two different games and ended the season with at least one pick in four straight contests … “He’s a great leader and guys look up to him,” Larson said. “He plays the middle of the field as well as anyone I’ve ever seen.” … He had his strongest game against nationally-ranked CSU-Pueblo … He had 14 tackles and two interceptions … He averaged 13.4 yards on his interception returns and scored a TD against Western State … He also returned punts, averaging 12.2 yards each return … He returned a punt a school record 86 yards for a TD against Black Hills State … Following the season, he was named an All-American by a bevy of publications, including Daktronics and Don Hansen’s Football Gazette … He was also placed on the AP Little All-American First Team – the first CSC player to be honored since Danny Woodhead … For his career, he’s played in 34 games … He’s started 29 of them … He was also a team captain.
2011: Started all 11 games for the Eagles in the defensive backfield … Finished fourth on the team in total tackles (48) and had the most pass break-ups (7) … Is one of the team’s leaders … He got better as the season progressed, finishing with 15 tackles and four pass break-ups in the final three games … Named to All-Nebraska First Team following the season … He also returned punts and averaged 7.4 yards per return … Also plays on the Eagles’ special teams.
2010: A versatile player who excelled during his first season in the defensive backfield … Played in all 11 games, starting six of them … Finished with 25 total tackles and broke up six passes … Also returned 23 punts, averaging 8.3 yards a return and added six kickoff returns for 17.2 yards.
2009: Redshirted during his first season at CSC.
High School: Joined high school teammate Jojo Phillips in the Eagles’ 2009 recruiting class ... Starred in the defensive backfield for the Scottie football team, making three interceptions … Also played wide receiver.
