2012: Played in two games as a reserve defensive back … He’s one of the hardest working members of the team … “He’s a great kid and he’ll do anything we ask him to,” Larson said. “He’s our hardest worker.” … Named to RMAC All-Academic honorable mention.
2011: Played in one game– the Eagles’ win over New Mexico Highlands – and he made two tackles … Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2010: He was named the 2010 Co-Defensive Service Team MVP … Saw time in CSC’s thrilling victory over Colorado School of Mines but didn’t record any stats … Placed on the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2009: Redshirted during his first season at CSC.
High School: Played quarterback and free safety and was named the most improved player by his football team in 2008 … Also named the 2009 track sprinter of the year and was awarded his high school’s male athlete of the year award … Also competed in basketball.
Personal: A social science major with a 3.87 GPA … Son of Tom and Rhonda McFarland … He has one brother, Shawn … Born Jan. 23.
