Biography

2017-18 Outlook:  Because of the proliferation of guards on the CSC roster, there’s a chance Martinz will redshirt this year. He’ll have the opportunity to learn the system and develop his skills and still have four years of eligibility.

Before Chadron State:  He was a two-time Black Hills Conference first-team selection for the Custer Wildcats.  He played point guard and led the team in scoring as a junior at 17.5 points a game. His senior year, the scoring was more balanced and he averaged about 12.5 points.

Personal: Son of Duane and Nancy Martinz. Born Oct. 2, 1998.  His brother, Cody, was on the CSC team last winter and graduated in May.  Another sports management major.
