Cameron Clark

2021- Coach Clark joins the CSC coaching staff for his first season. 
 
Clark is a native from Lewisville, Texas and spent the 2020-2021 season as the lead assistant at Lamar Community College in Lamar, Colorado.  
 
In Clark’s first year, he helped lead NJCAA division one Lamar to a third-place finish in Region IX (7-4), and an overall record of 11-11. Clark oversaw the player development and assisted in developing first team all-region forward, Khalil Haywood (#9 scorer in the country). He also developed second team all-region guard, Kevon Wiggins (#17 scorer in the country). 
 
Clark played four years at Southwestern College (KS) where he was named a four-time All-American. During his freshman year, Clark earned Freshmen of the Year honors. During his senior year, Clark led the 2015-2016 Moundbuilders to their first national tournament appearance in over a decade. Clark is also Southwestern’s all-time leading rebounder at 1,131 career rebounds and broke his predecessors record to become Southwestern’s all-time leading scorer at 2,450 career points during his tenure at Southwestern College. 
  
Additionally, Clark is the fifth all-time scoring leader among men’s college basketball players in the state of Kansas, and the only player in Southwestern College history to surpass both the 2,000-point plateau and the 1,000-rebound mark in his four years. Clark played professional basketball overseas from 2016-2020 in numerous countries such as Finland, Ireland, Republic of Georgia, Luxembourg, and Morocco. He earned Honorable Mention accolades in Finland, and won the Cup Finals Championship in Ireland, where he was named Cup Finals MVP. 
  
Clark earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, and is currently working on his Doctorate of Education from Southwestern College.
