Matthew Borchlewicz joins the coaching staff for the 2015-2016 eagles men's basketball as an assistant coach.
Borchlewicz worked with the Xavier basketball program for four seasons. He served as a manager his first two years before being promoted to a program assistant his last two seasons. He then joined the University of Richmond's basketball staff as a video coordinator.
At Richmond he coordinated recruiting databases as well as recruiting mail-outs. He also supervised and managed all aspects of the film exchange program.
In 2012, Borchlewicz began a stint as the Assistant Director of Basketball Operations for Radford University. He handled administrative duties including submitting recruiting travel paperwork, team travel reimbursements, and organizing all team travel hotels. In addition, he supervised and managed all aspects of the film exchange program.
During 2014-2015, he was an assistant coach for Urbana University. He assisted with on floor coaching, opponent scouting and oversaw the strength and conditioning program.
He is a native of Middletown, Ohio.
