2017-18 Outlook:  Since he’s also a wide receiver on the Eagles’ football team, he won’t begin playing basketball until about mid-November, but it’s a long season and he could be as important as anyone.  He’s a hard worker on defense, has lots of energy, is physical and is willing to help anyway he can.  Before the season is over, he could have answered a lot of questions in the forecourt.

2016-17: Started nine times and averaged 21.8 minutes while playing in 21 games after the football season ended.  Shot 47.7 percent from the field and averaged 4.1 points and 4.7 rebounds, the highest on the team.

2015-16: Played seven games at receiver for CSC football ... led the team in touchdown receptions (6) ... tied a school record with four TD receptions against Fort Lewis College on Nov. 14, 2015... For CSC basketball, he played in all 26 games and started 21... 22.9 minutes/game... Third on team with 4.0 rpg... 41.6 FG pct...

2014-15: Saw significant minutes as a true freshman, getting 10 starts ... Had 11 points, four rebounds at Colorado Mines on Dec. 12 ... Finished with sevn blocks and six steals ... Averaged 2.8 ppg and 2.6 rpg High School: Attended Appleton West

High School: Attended Appleton West High School … Led his team in scoring (15.1 ppg), rebounding (8.3 rpg), assists (3.4 apg), and blocks (.07 bpg) … Was named to the first team All-Conference as a senior … Was a three time team captain … Also was an All-Conference baseball and football player … Was a member of National Honor Society … Received the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Student Athlete Scholarship as well as the Red Smith Student Athlete Scholarship and the Terror Backers Student Athlete Scholarship.

Personal: Plans to study Human Biology … Son of Julie and Rick Reader … Has two siblings named Emma and Joey … Plays football at Chadron State College, as well … he redshirted in 2014.
