2012: Became a steady player behind the plate for the Eagles in her first season … Hit .296 in 48 games but more importantly she caught 16 potential base stealers … She also picked off four more … Provided 32 hits and scored 24 runs … Nearly a third of her hits were doubles and she had two home runs and 11 RBIs … Also had a fielding percentage of .976 … Named All-Nebraska Division II honorable mention … Has one of the quickest releases of any catcher in the RMAC … “Ashlynn has gained the respect of other teams while playing behind the plate because she has picked off several runners,” Stack noted. “She provides outstanding leadership while playing one of the toughest positions on the field.”
Before CSC: Was a two-time all-conference player at catcher and outfield at Fresno City College.
High School: Helped Fowler High win three CVC Valley Championships … She was a three-time all-league player, the Academic Player of the Year and the League MVP in 2009 … She was also a city county all-star.
