Biography

2015: The lone returning veteran to the Eagles’ pitching crew.
2014: Saw action in 15 games pitching … Had an ERA of 2.85, including three wins … Made three saves for the Eagles and pitched two complete games … In 46 innings she struck out 16 batters … Won the RMAC Summit Award for having the highest GPA in the conference.
2013: Saw time in seven games but made her name known in the circle during her first season at CSC … She went 2-2 and had an ERA of 2.31 in 11 appearances and 33.1 innings of work … Her two victories came against tough opponents … She tossed a 3-0 shutout over UNK and then earned a 7-6 victory over Metro State late in the year … She only had six at bats, but made them count, tallying two hits, two runs and driving in three runners.
High School: Phillips was a two-time all-conference and all-state selection and named to the Colorado Coaches of Girls Sports All-State Softball Team following the 2011 fall season … She posted a record of 11-3 in the circle, including 10 complete games, while striking out 84 batters … She was named her team’s MVP … She was also a talented hitter, leading the Cougars in hits (32), runs (26), doubles (9) and stolen bases (13) … In addition, she belonged to the National Honor Society and was involved in community service and photography … She also competed in track and field at Evergreen High.
