2013: Started 10 games in the infield and appeared in nine more during a productive freshman season … She hit .188 and drove in six runs … She had a career-high two hits at CSU-Pueblo … “She gives us excellent depth behind the plate,” Stack said. “She has one of the most natural swings on the team and she’ll be a good hitter for us.”
High School: Pelayo was a three-time all-conference player and two-time team MVP at Chaparral High School … She hit over .430 each of her three seasons and had 15 career home runs, 95 hits, 76 runs and 73 RBIs in just 61 career games … She was named all-state following her senior season.
Personal: Daughter of Robin and Johnny … Has a sister, Isabelle, and a brother, Zachary … Born May 21 … Majoring in English education.
