2015: A true leader as one of three seniors on the team … Has made the permanent move to designated hitter, providing a strong bat in the lineup.
2014:Continued to improve throughout the season … Started 37 games for Chadron State at catcher ... Had a hitting percentage of .257 and a slugging percentage of .366 … In 101 at bats she had 26 hits including three home runs … Was walked 15 times by opposing pitchers … At catcher she had a fielding percentage of .994, and had 150 putouts.
2013: She played in 25 games, starting eight of them … She hit .257 … Also provided solid defense behind the plate, finishing with seven assists and throwing out three would-be base stealers. 2012: Saw the field in 17 games last season, starting five of them at catcher … Had three hits and drew four walks.
High School: In addition to teammates Wetsch and Eatmon, Polk was also named to the Colorado All-State team in 2010 … She was the starting catcher for Golden High four years and was her team’s MVP, offensive player of the year and captain twice ...  She was also a three-time all-conference player … As a senior, she hit .458 and drove in 30 runs ...
