2021: Aaron Ballmer joined the Eagles' softball coaching staff in 2021, bringing coaching experience from previous positions at both NCAA Division I and Division II programs.
Ballmer's most recent experience was with the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball. During the 2020 season, prior to the suspension of the season, he briefly began a position as a seasonal video operations assistant, where he helped write scouting reports and organize film of other teams.
From 2017-2019, he served at Division II Franklin Pierce, in New Hampshire, as a graduate assistant in two different areas of specialization. He began as a recruiting coordinator and instructor for the FPU softball program, with a particular emphasis on strength and conditioning. Ballmer later transitioned into the school's strength and conditioning grad assistant position.
Prior to FPU, Ballmer was a strength and conditioning intern at Division I Brown University in Rhode Island.
Ballmer graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Bonaventure University, in New York, in 2015. While there he competed on the Bonnies' baseball team as a pitcher for four seasons.
He is a native of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania.
