2012: Had a record-setting season by recording a 20-game hitting streak … During that stretch, she raised her batting average over 30 points … She also had two other hitting streaks of at least five games during the season … “Nikki has improved her game, both offensively and defensively, during her time at CSC,” Stack said. “She is one of our leaders and we are looking at utilizing her speed more on the bases.” She had her finest season in 2012, hitting a career-high .337 and setting personal-best marks in nearly every offensive category … She also scored 25 runs, drove in 18 runs and stole a team-high eight bases … She also hit four triples, tied for the most in a single season in school history, and added five extra base hits … Named to the All-Nebraska Division II First Team … Has started 110 games in her career … She has 21 career stolen bases, which is the third most in school history … Also named to the RMAC All-Academic Second Team.

2010: Played in 36 games, starting 18 of them in the outfield … Scored 12 runs and had nine hits, including one double … Also stole eight bases, third most on the team.
High School: In 2009, she was a Star-Herald All-Region Softball First Team selection for being fifth in Class B with 32 runs scored … She also stole 18 bases and hit .433 … She also earned all-state honorable mention.
Personal: Her older brother, John, was a running back for the football team and a jumper on the track and field team … Her parents, Scott and Donna, are both faculty members at CSC and Scott was also the head wrestling coach for 25 years ... Has a 3.69 GPA in business administration … Her sister-in-law, the former Cassie Humphrey, was a standout softball player at Chadron State … Also has a younger brother, Joe … Born Sept. 23.
