2018--She did not join the Eagles in time for the indoor season, but showed promise while competing in the throws at several outdoor meets.
Before Chadron State: Hansen was an all-around high school athlete. Both the volleyball and basketball teams she played on were conference champions and the basketball team won at least 20 games all four years. She also threw the shot and discus for the Bobcats with bests in 2017 of 34-11 and 106-8.
Personal: Daughter of Brad and Janelle Hansen. Emily made the President’s List by earning all A’s her first semester at CSC while majoring in communications.
