Biography
2016—Had bests of 4:30.72 in the mile and 9:09.45 in the 3000 meters indoors. His top times outdoors were 4:05.55 in the 1500 and 16:23.34 in the 5000. Had a solid cross country season, placing 37th among the 193 runners in the 10-kilometer South Central Regional Meet in Denver in 33:02.
2015—Redshirted in track and field, but was a member of the CSC cross country team in the fall of 2015 with the Eagles’ fourth best times at both the RMAC and South Central Regional Meets.
Before Chadron State: Running for the Hot Springs Bison, he was second in the Class A 800 meters in 1:58.41 and first in the 1600 meters in 4:31.75 at the South Dakota State Meet his senior year in 2014.
Personal: Son of Neil and Fran Yager. Made the RMAC academic honorable mention list both indoors and outdoors in 2016 and was on Dean’s List that requires a 3.5 GPA in the fall of 2016.
