Biography
2018--A hard-working, dependable team leader. Finished seventh in the heptathlon at the RMAC Indoor Meet and was third in the decathlon at the RMAC Outdoor Meet. His career-best 6,334 points in the decathlon is sixth all-time for the Eagles. He also was eighth at the conference meet in the javelin at 156 feet, 10 inches.Â
2017—Injuries caused him to pass up heptathlon during the indoor season, but he placed fourth with a career-best 5,969 points in the decathlon at the RMAC Championships. His 11.04 time in the 100 meters was the best among the nine entries.
2016—Finished third among the 10 entries in the decathlon at the RMAC Outdoor Meet in May, scoring 5,742 points. While most of his marks were not spectacular, he worked hard and improved significantly. He finished second in both the 400 (51.64 seconds) and the 1500 (4:48.47) among the decathlon entries at the RMAC Meet.
Personal: Son of Cindy Peterson. A physical science major, who made the RMAC academic honorable mention list both indoors and outdoors the past three years and was on Dean’s List that requires a 3.5 GPA in the fall of 2016, spring of 2017 and fall of 2018.
