2020--
Had a tremendous start to the season, winning the 60m dash in each of the first four meets of the year, including a PR of 6.8 seconds... placed in top four at all but one meet in the long jump as well, including a season best 23' 10.75". Had a great shot at taking the conference title in the 60 until a nagging injury kept him out of the finals. Will return for the 2021 outdoor season after the COVID-19 pandemic prevented him from competing outdoors this year.
2019-- Consistently one of the teams best performers meet to meet, qualifying for both indoor and outdoor conference meets in all of his events. Top placings of 4th in the 60m in indoor and 3rd in the Long Jump outdoor. Had the third fastest 100m time in the outdoor conference prelims, but finished 7th in finals.
2018—Lanier’s highlights included winning the 60-meter dash in 6.83 seconds and placing third in the long jump by going 23-8 at the RMAC Indoor Championships, then placing second to teammate Isaac Grimes in the long jump at 24-¾ at the conference’s outdoor meet. He also had a season-best 10.61 in the 100 preliminaries at the RMAC Outdoor Meet, but did not run as well in the finals and finished eighth.
2017—Opened the season with a bang by placing second in both the 60 meters in 6.85 seconds and the 200 in 23.35 at the Black Hills State Holiday Open in early December. He then won the 60 in 6.94 and placed fifth in the long jump at 23-3 ½ at the Colorado Mines Alumni Classic the next week, but missed several of the ensuing meets because of minor injuries.  Had a best of 10.83 seconds in the 100 late in the outdoor season.
Before Chadron State—Although he missed the 2016 Colorado State Meet because of an injury, he ran the 60 in 6.81 seconds and the 100 in 10.68 seconds.
