Biography
2017—During the Eagles’ two meets in December, Bleidt won the weight throw at 57-9 ½ at the Black Hills Holiday Classic and 59-7 at the Colorado Mines Alumni Meet. Both marks are provisional qualifiers for the National Meet. Just two CSC throwers, Charith Kapukotuwa and Doug Lytle, have ever thrown the weight more than 60 feet.
2016—Had a best of 53-9 in the 35-pound weight throw while placing fourth at the RMAC Indoor Meet. Outdoors, he had the Eagles’ best marks of 175-10 in the hammer throw, good for second place at the RMAC Meet, and 166-3 in the discus in California. He was fourth in the discus at the RMAC Meet at 148-1. His top discus mark is third best all-time at CSC and the hammer throw is seventh.
2015—Gave the Eagles a boost at the RMAC Outdoor Meet when he placed sixth in the discus at 146-5, his season best. Also hit 153-5 in the hammer throw.
2014—Redshirted.
Before Chadron State: Won the Class D discus throw at the Nebraska State Meet as a senior at Garden County High in May 2013 with a fling of 152-10.
