Chadron State College Athletics

2016-17—A hometown product who overcame injuries and placed third, fourth and sixth in Class C at the Nebraska State Cross Country Meet her final three of high school and capped her career by finishing sixth in the Class B 3200 (11:47.77) at the 2016 State Track and Field Meet. She was a leader on the CSC cross country team last fall, posting the Eagles’ best time of 24:53 over the 6K course at the South Central Regional Meet in Denver.
Personal:  Kiya was an honor student at Chadron High and was accepted into the Rural Health Opportunities Program at CSC.  Daughter of Gus and Amy Passero.
