2020-- As with the entire distance crew, saw great improvement under coach Karamitros...hit a huge PR in the 5k at 18:24.08 and qualified for the indoor conference championships where she finished 13th among a field that included some of the premier distance runners in the nation at the NCAA DII level. 
2019-- Qualified for both the indoor and outdoor conference meets... ran a leg on the 6th place DMR team at the indoor championships... just narrowly missed scoring a point for the team finishing in 9th in the 3k steeple at the outdoor championships. Hit a mile PR of 5:28.33.
2018--Ran the mile in 5:30.89 indoors and the 1500 in 4:59.45 and the steeplechase in 12:17.67 outdoors. She also competed in cross country during the fall.
Before Chadron State:  Won both the 1600 and 3200 at the Western Trails Conference Meet and was the 3200 champion and the 1600 runner-up at the Western Conference Meet as a senior in 2017. In addition, she was a member of Mitchell’s second place Class C 4x400 relay at the State Meet that spring. She also was a state meet qualifier the previous three years.
Personal: Daughter of John and Melanie Watson. A family and consumer sciences major.
