Biography
2018--A triple jumper who capped her junior season by going 37-8 ½ to match her career-best and place fourth at the RMAC Outdoor Meet. She entered the competition with the 14th best mark among the meet qualifiers. Her indoor best was 35-11 ½, which was good for eighth place at the conference meet.
2017—Carbajal had bests of 36-9 ¾ while winning the silver medal at the RMAC Indoor Championships and 36-8 ½ to finish seventh at the conference’s Outdoor Meet.
2016—She had bests of 36-7 indoor and 37-8 ½ outdoors. She placed fourth at the RMAC Indoor Meet and was seventh at the conference’s outdoor meet. She redshirted as a true freshman at CSC in 2014-15.
Before Chadron State: A graduate of Eagle Valley High, also former coach Brad Gamble’s high school. She went 36-10 ¼ to win Class 4A triple jump champion at the Colorado State Meet as a senior in May 2014. Daughter of Nato and Rosa Carbajal.
