2021-22 RMAC Outdoor Champ (Men's 4x400)
3x RMAC Academic Honor Roll (2021, 2022 OTF, 2023)

2022-23: Competed in 7 indoor meets including the RMAC Indoor Championships and 2 outdoor meets for the Eagles. He had an indoor season-best time of 7:23 in the 60, 21.10 in the 200, and 51:87 in the 400. Outdoor season best times included 22.52 in the 200 and 49.93 in the 400 both ran at the Tom Benich Invite.
2021-22: Took third place for the third consecutive season with the men's 4x400 relay at RMAC indoor championships ... also competed in the other indoor sprints
2020-21: Competed on the men's 4x400 meter relay again and took bronze again at the RMAC indoor meet ... added 400 meter hurdles to his events and ran the ninth-fastest time in the RMAC for the outdoor season ... won RMAC title in 4x400 relay at outdoor championships
2019-20: Improved his 400 time at each meet dropping over 3 seconds throughout the year. Stepped up as an alternate to run a leg on the 4x400 relay that finished 3rd at the conference meet and is the 8th fastest time school history. Also ran the 400 leg of the DMR that finished 9th at the conference meet. 
High School: Four-time state placer and six-time district champ in relays, hurdles, and sprints at Garden County High in Oshlosh, Nebraska
Personal: Son of Eduardo and Eustolia Vargas...has four siblings, Johnny Vargas, Anselmo Cano, Osvaldo Cano, Daisy Cano...Osvaldo competes on the track team as well
