Biography
2018--Ran the 3000 in 11:48.75 and the 5000 in 20:30.31 indoors, but was injured and did not compete during the outdoor season. She ran on the Eagles’ cross country team in the fall of 2018 and was usually the No. 2 runner behind Alyse Henry.
2017—Redshirted during both 2016 cross country season and both 2017 track seasons.
2016—Ran on the Eagles’ cross country team as a freshman in the fall of 2015 and had bests of 11:46.36 in the 3000 and 20:22.35 in the 5000 at indoors meets in 2016. During the spring, her outdoor bests were 5:20.77 in the 1500 and 20:15.87 in the 5000.
Before Chadron State: Helped Upton win the Class A state track and field championship as a senior in May 2015 by placing fifth in both the 1600 and 3200.
Personal: Daughter of Derek and April Silbaugh. An exercise science major who earned all A’s the first semester of 2017-18.
