2022-23: Competed in 9 outdoor meets for the Eagles including the RMAC Outdoor Championships and the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Had season-best throws of 44.87m in Javelin, 46.03m in Discus and 60.31m in the Hammer which placed him 1st at the RMAC Championships. He finished the season by placing 18th with a throw of 56.17m at the NCAA Championships.
2021-22: Placed at RMAC indoor championships in both the shot put and weight throw...qualified for the 2022 Outdoor Championships qualifier in hammer throw...2022 Outdoor RMAC champion in hammer throw
2020-21: Competed in the weight throw at every indoor meet and consistently threw over 50 feet ... added discus and hammer throw in outdoor season and finished as an All-RMAC Second Team selection in both
2019-20: Had a terrific first year as an Eagle and consistently was in the top 10 at each meet in the shot put competition, including a first place finish at the Dave Little Alumni Mile meet in late January...Qualified for the conference meet and finished 5th to score points for the team.
High School: Competed in both sprints and throws at Bison High in South Dakota, where he placed at six of eight state meets he qualified for in the throws ... also a three-time regional placer on the track and a region champ in 4x100 meter relay in 2017
Personal: Son of Tracy and Heidi Collins...has one sibling, Ross
