Chadron State College Athletics

2017—Ran the 400 in 59.93 seconds indoors and was on the 4x400 relay quartet that finished sixth at the RMAC Meet.  Outdoors, she had times of 25.52 in the 200 and 58.46 in the 400, long jumped 18-6 ½ and was on both relay teams, including the 4x100 team that placed second at the RMAC Meet with a school-record time of 45.46 and qualified for the National Championships.  She also anchored the 4x400 team that won the bronze medal at the conference meet. 
2016—Competed at some of the early indoor meets, but redshirted during the outdoor season
Before Chadron State: Won the Class 5A long jump at the New Mexico State Meet in 2015 with a leap of 18-6 ¼, and ran on relays, helping her team win the New Mexico State Meet championship for the third straight year.  She also ran the 400 meters in 58.8 seconds.  She redshirted at CSC during the 2016 season.
Personal: A strong student who made the CSC Dean’s List in the fall of 2016.  Daughter of Julian and Alma Martinez.
