Biography
2023-24: All-RMAC Second Team... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... Played in 22 games, starting 19... Led the team with 12.3 points and 6.6 rebounds per game... Team-high 29 steals... Made 52.7 percent of her field goal attempts (107-203)... 14 games in double figures... Two double-doubles... Season-high 25 points against N.M. Highlands (2/16), also grabbing 12 rebounds... Season-high 13 rebounds against Colo. School of Mines (2/24), also scoring 15 points... Season-high five steals against UCCS (12/17).
2022-23: Powers was named All-RMAC First Team after averaging 16.5 points and 6.5 rebounds. The sophomore led CSC in field goal percentage, rebounds and points. Powers finished the season shooting .550 percent from the field and .719 from the charity stripe. Powers finished the season ranked in the top ten in multiple categories in the conference. Her 16.5 points ranked her fourth in the league, while she was third in field goal percentage and 10th in rebounding. Against Nebraska-Kearney in November, she scored a season high 29 points and added 11 rebounds. Powers had four double-doubles during the season and scored over 20 points nine times.
2021-22: RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... Started in 18 of 25 games, totaling 632 minutes...led the Eagles in total points with 347, averaging 13.9 points per game.Â
2020-21: Powers had a solid freshman season, seeing action in every game and totaling 219 minutes played. She was second in scoring with 32 field goals made and had a .391 percentage. Behind Foxen, she made the most free throws with 25 and had the team high free throw percentage at .781. Powers had six double-digit games but her best was against MSU-Denver in January where she had 17 points and went seven for eight on free throws, an 87.5 percentage. After a strong start to her Eagle career, she will be a player to keep an eye on in the future.Â
High School: Graduated in 2020 from Skyline Highschool... Played for Coach Tyler Cerveny... First team All-State team, captain, and All-Conference... Top scorer and rebounder with the most double doubles in the conference... 2020 All-Conference selection... two time All-Region selection for Skyline High School.
Personal: Daughter of Amy and Chad Neb... Majoring in Business Administration with minor in Marketing and Nutriton, Health and Wellness... Aspires to be a Real Estate Agent in Colorado... Enjoys snowboarding and hiking... Can also play the piano.
