Brianna Dontje grew up in Mankato Minnesota where she was a starter in both volleyball and basketball throughout high school.
She moved to Spearfish South Dakota for five years where she volunteered as a basketball coach in the Special Olympics for the Spearfish Peaks basketball team.
She successfully earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Athletic Coaching from Black Hills State University and is currently pursuing a masters in Clinical Mental Health at Chadron State College. She plans to get a doctoral degree to become a practicing sport psychologist working with collegiate basketball teams.
