2013-14: Had one of finest seasons for a women’s basketball student-athlete at Chadron State in recent memory … She averaged 15.5 points and 8.3 rebounds to lead the team in both categories … Following the season she was named to the All-Nebraska Division II First Team and the RMAC All-Conference Second Team … Scored 40 points in a win against Adams State, becoming just the second player in school history to eclipse that barrier … Gwen Reed owns the school record for most points in a game with 42 and she also scored 41 earlier in her career … Against the Grizzlies, Kattie did set the school record for most free throws attempted (24) and most free throws made (20) … Had six double doubles and led the Eagles in scoring and rebounding 18 different times … Shot over 45 percent from the field, increasing her shooting percentage by eight points … She also averaged over five more rebounds a game than she did the year before … A Second Team RMAC All-Academic selection … Has scored 563 points in her career.
2011-12: Appeared in 20 games, averaging 3.2 points and 3.0 rebounds … Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll for the second straight season.
2010-11: Had a solid redshirt freshman year, averaging 4.0 points and 2.1 rebounds in 24 games … Scored a career-high 13 points against New Mexico Highlands … Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2009-10: Redshirted during her first year at Chadron State.
High School: A two-year starter who averaged 11.4 points and seven rebounds a game as a senior at Rapid City Central ... Was named second team all-state … Played in the South Dakota-Wyoming All-Star Game … She also played volleyball and participated in track and field … She was named Rapid City’s female high school athlete of the year.
