Biography
2017-18—After a year of experience as a starter, much is expected of Baucom in the Eagles’ forecourt this season. Because of a calf injury she suffered during post-season practice just before the 2016-17 school year ended, her workouts were limited this summer, but it’s expected she’ll be ready to play when the season opens.
2016-17—Started all 25 games for the Eagles and averaged 22.5 minutes on the court. Averaged 3.3 points and 4.5 rebounds, had 17 steals and nine blocked shots.
Previous School: Attended McCook Community College... She led all of NJCAA Region IX in rebounding both her freshman and sophomore years, and owns every rebounding record at MCC... Has 751 career boards and 450 points, good for an average of 7.4 points, 12.3 boards over two seasons... Named to the Region IX All-Defensive Team as a freshman... Named both All-Conference First Team and All-Region First Team as a sophomore.
High School: Named to All-Conference team... Played in All-Star game senior year.
Personal: From Colorado Springs, Colo... Daughter of Tom and Gerry Baucom... Has one sibling, Kaitlyn Baucom... Majors in Museum and Gallery Art.
