2020: Making her coaching debut for women's basketball in 2019-20, Stacy Girard enters her second season as a coaching assistant in 2020.
She is a 2009 CSC alumna who starred for the Eagles' track and field team from 2006-2009, earning an All-America certificate with a fifth-place finish in the NCAA outdoor championships 1,500 meter run as a junior in 2008, In 2009 she turned in an automatically qualifying time in the indoor mile in 2009. Girard still maintains the school's indoor mile record, as well as the indoor 1,500 meter record and the outdoor record at 3,000 meters.
Girard returned for one cross country season in 2013, earning All-Region honors at the NCAA South Central Region Championships in Canyon, Texas.
She was a three-sport athlete for Alliance high school, where she started three years for the Bulldogs' basketball team.
Girard, formerly named Stacy Langemeier, lives in Chadron with her husband John and three children.
