2018 - Willie Hoffman is entering his third season as the assistant coach for the Chadron State College women’s golf team. Hoffman is Titleist Performance Institute Golf 3, Fitness 2, and Juniors 2 certified instructor. He is also a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Hoffman works as an associate professor in the HPER Department at CSC teaching exercise science courses.
Prior to assisting the women’s golf program, Hoffman spent 10 years as an assistant coach with the CSC track and field program and served as the interim head coach during the 2009 season. For eight of those years, he ran the track and field strength and conditioning program. Hoffman primarily coached the jumpers, multi events, and hurdlers which earned 24 All-American honors in eleven years.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education and history form CSC in December 2002, master’s degree in secondary education from CSC in December 2004, and Ed. D in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy in 2016.
Hoffman is married to the former Blakelee Binning, who was an All-American in volleyball and a track standout at Black Hills State. Blakelee is a reading teacher at Chadron Middle School and she is the head volleyball coach and head track and field coach at Chadron High School.
Willie and Blakelee have two children, Johnathon and Abigail.
