Biography
A solid member of the Eagles’ outstanding contingent of veteran throwers…Has career bests of 43-3 ¾ in the shot put indoors, 41-8 ¾ in the shot outdoors, 51-1 ¾ in the weight throw and 152-10 in the hammer throw…The weight throw best came at the RMAC Meet when she was a freshman in 2011 and earned second place behind the Eagles’ Jennifer Horsley, now the CSC throws coach…Cyndi’s hammer throw best also came that season, when she placed fourth at the conference meet…Both of her shot put bests were posted last year, when she earned fifth place at both conference meets….Besides being a track and field standout at Omaha’s South High, she also participated in volleyball, basketball and power lifting…She’s zeroing in on earning a degree a family and consumer science teacher and has an almost perfect GPA of 3.966…Daughter of Carla Hellbusch…Born Dec. 4, 1991.
