Biography

2012: Started every game and batted .283 during a strong junior campaign … She drove in 37 RBIs, which was the second most on the team, and hit eight home runs … Two of her home runs and five of her RBIs came in the same game against Fort Lewis … “Over the past two seasons Amy has been a clutch player for us and a consistent player at first base,” Stack said. “She’s another leader on the field.” … Improved her defense at first base and posted a .986 fielding percentage – the fourth-best mark in school history … Also scored 24 runs … Named to the RMAC All-Academic honor roll … Ranks in several categories in the school’s top 10 career list, including home runs (ninth), RBIs (seventh), total bases (10th), fielding percentage (fifth) and most double plays turned (15).
2011: Had a successful first season for the Eagles, culminating with her being named All-Nebraska Honorable Mention … She hit .323, scored 17 runs and drove in 24 more while providing solid defense at first base.
Before CSC: Played one season at Seward County Community College, earning NJCAA Academic All-American honors … She hit .226 and drove in 22 runs … She also threw two games, winning one … The Lady Saints finished ninth at the 2010 NJCAA National Tournament.
High School: Was named the North Platte Telegraph’s Softball Player of the Year in 2009 … She was also an all-state selection
Personal: Daughter of Aaron and Jana … Has a sister, Anne, and a brother, Matthew … Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition last May and is currently working on a graduate degree in community and mental health … Born March 15.
