Biography

2020 RMAC Honorable Mention

2022: After returning from an injury suffered in 2021, Hurtado finished second on the team during the 2022 season with 178 kills. The Aurora, Colorado native averaged 1.85 kills per set while having an attack percentage of .122. Defensively, Hurtado finished the year with 135 digs and 42 blocks. Hurtado had over ten kills six times during the season and had a season high 15 against Colorado Christian. The soon to be graduate student started 26 of the Eagles 27 matches.
2021: Hurtado started in nine matches and played in 33 sets before sitting out the rest of the season due to injury. She was on pace to be one of the team's premiere hitters when she recorded a .333 hitting percentage against Minnesota-Crookston early in the season to help secure the three-set victory. Her 10 kills in that match ties teammate's Aiyana Fujiyama's 10 kills at New Mexico Highlands as the highest amount of kills by an Eagle during a three-set match in the 2021 season.
2020: After transferring, Hurtado had a breakout year for the Eagles, leading the team in many categories. She recorded 111 kills, 112 digs, 16 total blocks, and 136.5 points. Offensively, she had a great game against Adams State where she had 16 kills and an attack percentage of .214. Against Black Hills State, she recorded her season high of 24 digs while also managing two block assists.
Previous School:  Hurtado, an Aurora, Colorado native, joins CSC after playing a year for Florida Southwestern State College. While playing for the Buccaneers, Hurtado recorded 105 kills and had an attack percentage of .226.
High School:   In high school, the 5-11 outside hitter was twice named the East Metro Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player and was a three time First Team All-Conference selection.  As a senior, Hurtado broke Rangeview High's all-time kills record with 370 while also adding 276 digs and 50 aces for the Raiders.
