Before CSC: Averaged six points and 10 boards a game at LA Valley College … He also participated in the 2012 Elite 80 JUCO All-American Showcase … “Nate plays very hard and is always hustling,” Bargen said. “He enjoys doing the things that most other players don’t want to do. He is an above average athlete.”
High School: Played at Crenshaw High and also participated in cross country, water polo and volleyball.
Personal: He’s the son of Carmen Simon and Shelton Boykin … A social work major … Has two siblings.
