2019: Coach Szalwinski joined the CSC coaching staff in 2018 from Lexington, South Carolina.
Szalwinski’s collegiate career began at Coker College, an NCAA Division II school in Hartsville, South Carolina, where he competed his freshman and sophomore year. Following his sophomore season, he transferred to The Citadel Military College of South Carolina, a Division I school in Charleston, where he spent his remaining two years.
He was a two year starter for the The Citadel at the 133 pound weight class.
Throughout high school Szalwinski compiled a 131-32 record while qualifying for state all four years. He was a three-time state finalist and two-time state champion.
He is a recent graduate of The Citadel, graduating with a bachelor's of arts in history in 2018 and is currently in graduate school at CSC, pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Management.
