2018 - Summers enters his second year as a coaching assistant for the CSC wrestling team.
During 2017, Summer's first year as a full time assistant, the team had one wrestler qualify for nationals, marking the 50th consecutive year for the Eagle program.
Before being a coach, Summers was a part of the Eagle wrestling program for five years. As a senior, he finished 25-7 while being named an Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference champion.
In his junior campaign, Summers placed second in the region, earning himself a trip to the NCAA National tournament, where he finished 1-2 before losing in the heartbreak round at 133 pounds.
Finishing his seasons at 24-10 as a sophomore and 18-10 as a freshman, Summers ended his Eagle career with 93 wins, good enough for 13th all-time on the school record board.
