2009-10: Had a nice start to his CSC career as a true freshman, finishing with an 18-13 record at 125 pounds … He tied for the second-most wins on the team and took down his opponents 36 times.
High School: A three-time Nebraska state champion at Clarkson High School and had a career record of 122-16 … His state titles came at 103, 112 and 125 pounds … He lost 11 matches during his freshman season but ended his high school career in style by posting a record of 98-5 his final three seasons … In addition to his success at the state level, he wrestled twice at the Disney Duals and was the 2007 Brute Adidas National runner-up … He was also a three-time Nebraska National Dual member.
