2012-13: Filled the varsity spot at 125 pounds as a true freshman but suffered an injury during preseason and will redshirt in 2013-14 … He competed well his first season on the mat, posting a record of 6-16 … Named the team’s Rookie of the Year following the season.
High School: Went 38-7 as a senior and capped it off with a state championship at 120 pounds … He placed two other times at the state tournament for Centennial High in Boise and in 2011 he was ranked 20th in the nation in freestyle and Roman Greco wrestling … He finished high school with a prep career of 104-23.
