2015-16: Redshirted his junior year.
2014-15: Named preseason all-conference at 149 pounds … Hunter said, “Jacob is maturing and becoming a more consistent wrestle. He is wrestling well and we expect huge things this year.”
2013-14: Wrestled in 31 matches for the Eagles as a true freshman … had a record of 19-12 with three coming from pins … Led the team in takedowns with 72 … Was the RMAC wrestler of the week Dec. 30 … Was named Rookie of the Year by the team.
High School: Won three consecutive state championships for Central City … Had a career record of 143 wins to just six losses … Also placed third as a freshman and owns the school record for fastest pin in six seconds … He signed with CSC while he was ranked the top high school recruit in Nebraska … He was ranked the 24th best wrestler at 152 pounds by USA Wrestling Magazine … He was also a Grand National Triple Crown winner in the summer of 2012 … Also played golf.
Personal: He’s the son of Grant and Laurie … Has five siblings: Taylor, Jessica, Josh, Lily and Royce.
