2x Academic All-RMAC Honor Roll (2019, 2020)

2020-21: Competed in 10 matches for the Eagles (4-6) ... advanced to NCAA DII Super Regional VI, appeared in four rounds (2-2), took fourth place. 
2019-20: Wrestled in 19 matches going 7-12 on the season... 22 take downs and 17 escapes...competed in the 141 weight class for the team at the Super Region 6 Championships (1-2). 
2018-19: Overall record of 9-10 with three varsity dual meet appearances ... Placed fourth at Sioux City Dave Edmonds Open.
2017-18: Redshirted for the Eagles but finished 17-11 in open tournaments...Won the Cowboy Open 133-pound amateur bracket.
High School: Two-time Class B state runner-up at Chadron High ... sixth place in 2015 ... Career high school record of 111-24
Personal: Son of Donna and Scott Ritzen, a member of the CSC Athletics, Adams State Athletics, National Wrestling Coaches Association, Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, and NAIA Wrestling Halls of Fame ... older brother is CSC Head Women's Golf Coach John Ritzen and sister is former softball player Nikki Ritzen, who holds the school record for longest hitting streak (20).
